PROGRAMS UNDER 36 MONTHS

Exceptional and Structured Learning for under 36 months.

This facility is all about the provision of quality care. It must be fun and productive for our children to be meaningful. 

  • Our staff dedicate their working days towards ensuring that each child have fun learning in a safe, healthy, and secure environment.
  •  We provide a nurturing classroom, stimulating and educational toys under the watchful eyes of specialized staff 
  • All day structured learning immersed in basic learning skills to balance skills and growth
  • Cozy nap room that offers serenity and refreshment
  • Encourage and provide experiences for infants to develop speech, gross and fine motor movements, and social skills. Provide infants with one-to-one interactions to develop trust and bonding

Age 2.5 – School Age:

Preschools are a hotbed of learning for kids. Children, especially young ones, are eager learners. They are like sponges: they soak up everything around them—the environment, surroundings, sights, and sounds.

Math:

  • Identifying numbers 1 to 10
  • Counting from 1 to 10
  • Corresponding objects one-to-one
  • Sorting objects by various attributes (colors, shapes, sizes, etc.)
  • Identifying and creating patterns (AB, AABB, ABAB, etc.)

Literacy:

  • Familiarity with the alphabet, connecting letter names and the sounds they make
  • Recognizing their name and learning to spell and write their name
  • Learning to hold a pencil, crayon, or marker correctly
  • Retelling a story in their own words

Science:

  • Exploration with scientific tools like magnets, microscopes, magnifying glasses, and prisms
  • Learning to observe nature quietly on nature walks or gardening experiences
  • Watching insects and seeing how they behave
  • Watching a plant grow, from planting the seed to watering and making a daily note or picture of how it changes
  • Looking outside and identifying the weather, season, and daily changes throughout the year
  • Learning to measure and mix ingredients for a special snack time

Creative arts:

  • Exploring various means of art, like drawing, painting, sculpting, weaving, collage, etc.
  • d exploring a variety of materials (crayons, watercolors, textured paint, pencils, markers, clay, chalk, charcoals, etc.)
    Mixing paint colors

    • Learning traditional songs and creating hand motions or dance movements to accompany them
    • Exploring and using musical instruments, like rhythms sticks, xylophones, and shakers
    • Finding other materials to practice rhythm and having a visual way to see it through scarves or bean bags
    • Creating a play with a simple storyline or recreating a familiar story
    • Dramatizing Old MacDonald’s Farm and making a barnyard by imitating animals

    Social skills: Critical thinking and problem-solving, relationship building, respect for others and courtesies

    Music : Singing, drumming, musical instruments, music listening, music appreciation, music circles, musical chairs, national anthems, music and movement, rhyming, and lyrics

    Community Engagement: We will offer an inclusive environment where the children will play and grow. We will make a conscious effort to bring in guest teachers from service providers in the community to tell life stories to children in the day care, sharing experiences & expertise. Providing emotional and in person support. Guiding families to relevant services/supports & resources in their own communities across BC. Assisting families with information, training, and city-wide networking

    We have also reserved every first Saturday of the month for mothers to meet up and learn of the basic settlement and learning needs in Surrey. Guest speakers will also be invited to deliver needs related issues. We will offer space in our facilities for service providers to display brochures that specifies their programs and services that will be of benefits to our children and parents of new immigrants to Canada as well as new mothers.
